WHAT IS STRESS?

This is how I explain it. Stress is one of our vital emotions and is our normal reaction to a perceived threat, although some people will know it as when they feel under stress, feel stressed out or burnt out. It’s very easy to recognise stress in ourselves, and in its also fairly easy to see stress in others as well. When we think we have a perceived threat, our brain will trigger our fight or flight response and release brain chemicals like cortisol and adrenalin to protect us. This stress level may be major or minor depending on the circumstances. This emotion of stress can either be for only a short period of time until the threat is gone, however some people continue to have negative thoughts about the perceived threat and then the stress becomes chronic and it dramatically effects their normal life.

 

In small doses, stress is a good thing as it helps us stay focused, alert and energetic, however when stress becomes too overwhelming, it will negatively affect our health, give us mood swings, reduce our productivity and put strain on our relationships but most of all it stuffs up our quality of life.

 

The main symptoms of acute stress are anxiety, worry and fear and if they are constant, they can overwhelm you and can greatly reduce your ability to live a healthy and satisfying life. That’s neither good for you nor for your family.

 

Some other symptoms that a person suffering from major stress is insomnia and sleep problems, mood swings, lack of motivation, lack of focus, irritable and angry, sadness, feeling depressed, niggling headaches, upset stomachs, chest pain, muscle tension and a change in sex drive.

 

The resulting health issues that will affect a person with acute stress are panic disorders, chronic worrying, over or under eating disorders, anger outbursts, alcohol or drug abuse, social anxiety disorders, phobias, and even social withdrawal. None of these are good for you, in fact stress is quite often linked to major health issues like strokes and heart attacks and doctors have estimated that up to 70% of their consultations are stress related.

 

 

STRESS IS MANAGED IN YOUR SUBCONSCIOUS MIND.

Hypnosis for anxiety is a life-changing experience, so stop worrying because there is some good news for you.

 

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy is the most effective tool to quickly sort out your current mindset and reprogram or rewire your subconscious mind so that you can control stress and allow you to be in control of your future in a more positive way.

 

I use a process called Emotional Detox Therapy to remove those negative thoughts and feelings deep inside your subconscious and replace them with positive reinforced beliefs that will allow you to feel more confident in your life, strengthen your resilience to issues that may pop up every now and again and be in control of your feelings much better than you currently are.

 

You will get your life back and wonder why you didn’t try hypnotherapy earlier. I recommend at least two sessions to really embed in the new you, however sometimes it does only take one session. It will really be up to you on how many you will need as your new positive mindset will steer you on the right path to success and keep you there.

 

Hypnosis and hypnotherapy is a fast life-changing experience, whereas usually a psychiatrist will listen to you explain your issue and  prescribe you drugs for quite a long time, usually a psychologist will talk to you about it for quite a long time and usually a doctor will prescribe you drugs to use over a long time. These remedies obviously do work, and I will never tell you to stop using any of these remedies, in fact I prefer to provide you with assistance in conjunction with any professional help that you are receiving, because after all, I am not a doctor, I am a hypnotist. You would need to have the appropriate discussions with your current health providers about your experience with hypnosis.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOUR ANXIETY/STRESS HYPNOSIS HYPNOTHERAPY SESSION

Not much really, just the following.

  • An open mind about hypnosis – it’s a very natural process and it works the best

  • A strong desire to be in more control of your life – you must want change to happen

  • An expectation that you’re going to achieve your goals – hypnosis will give you what you want

  • A willingness to co-operate with the hypnotherapist – it does require your permission

Bring these with you and success will be the outcome.

 

 

HOW MY ANXIETY/STRESS CONTROL HYPNOSIS AND HYPNOTHERAOY SESSION WORKS.

  • You take the first step of booking in a “free hypnosis discovery phone call”. This will allow me to give you peace of mind on the how this process works and how hypnosis works to allow you remove chronic anxiety and take back control of your life. It’s important to me that you know the science behind how it works and why it works. If you don’t want to take it any further after this phone call, that’s fine but I’m sure that you will be very keen and excited to make it happen.

 

  • This next request is optional however, I honestly believe that this is a great help to sorting out the issues that you want sorted. I will ask you to either send me an email or write down on a piece of paper and bring to the session a brief description on what you are currently experiencing and what goals you would want to achieve working with me in the hypnotherapy session. This allows me to understand how things that relate to your anxiety have affected your daily life routine. This is so important as some of the comments that you write down come more directly from your emotional subconscious mind and they will help address those specific issues for your future to be more successful and for you to be more in control. If you don’t wish to do this, that’s Ok as well as we can just discuss the issue further at the session.

 

  • We will book in your first hypnotherapy session which usually takes about 1 ½ hours.

 

  • The first half hour of the session is discussing your current issues, your new goals and how hypnosis works. I will explain to you that you don’t have a conscious mind issue, rather you do have a subconscious mind issue, where it has created deep within your emotional system a habit of over-reacting to normal stress situations.

 

  • Then we will start the hypnosis session that will be customised around your individual requirements for success. At the end of that session you will be more in control of your thoughts and your life because we will have removed using a method I call Emotional Detox Therapy, any emotional barriers that have been causing you those negative thoughts which in turn are giving you negative reactions. By the way, you will always be alert and in control for the whole session. You will not be asleep, and you will remember everything that I say to you. At the end of the session when you open your eyes you will feel very relaxed and energised because you will realise that you are now in control of your life and your future more than what you have been for a long time. That old anxious state that you have been feeling is now past-tense and you will become a healthier and fitter person totally in control of your thoughts and actions.

 

  • Sometimes it will only take one session to change your mindset about anxiety control, however I always recommend that a minimum of two or three sessions would embed your new positive mindset firmly into your subconscious mind. This obviously would be up to you, as you will be the only one that knows if you need more sessions. If you decide that you do need further sessions, they will be based around the first session with added positive suggestions regarding self-esteem, self-confidence and being a more positive person. Since having long term anxiety has taken a lot from you, I do suggest that these extra sessions would also be beneficial for you to refocus your thinking on another level that will enhance your mind control and allow to you function better than you have for a long time. Again, this is totally voluntary by you. Each extra session is only about one hour and is cheaper than your first session as well.

 

  • Before you leave the session, I will also teach you some very easy methods to assist you in the future if for any reason you experience an event that you need a little bit of extra help with, sort of like a safety net. I call it anchoring. You probably won’t need it, but you will have the ability to use is if you wanted to.

 

  • I will also give you a complementary self-hypnosis anxiety control audio MP3 so that if ever you feel the need, you can listen to it. You don’t have to use it, but you will have it if you want to.

 

  • Because you will have experienced some immediate results with this session, I bet you will be a big fan of the hypnotic process of anxiety control and you will recommend my services to other people that you know. Referrals is how I get most of my work actually. (How’s that for a proactive post hypnotic suggestion).

 

  • Now that you will be in control of your anxiety and in control of your life, here’s what you can look forward to. You will be more adaptable to change and be in control of your emotions, experience better relationships especially with the opposite sex, have increased energy and focus, less frustration and stress during a difficult situations, deeper and more restful sleep and the best thing is that you will just be a happier person who can laugh at yourself and have a high degree of self-confidence.
