WHY DO I CALL IT WEIGHT CONTROL RATHER THAN WEIGHT LOSS?

Because weight loss is just the process of losing some kilos to get to your desired weight by whatever method you choose, however weight control is not only losing the weight but managing you weight all the time forever and not putting it back on.

 

What this means is that eating less and exercising your muscles are usually required, however the most important thing you need to train is your brain, because that’s where it all happens.

 

Your subconscious mind controls the emotional reasons as to why you are overweight in the first place and the reasons why it’s easier not to change. The reasons are usually all emotional, so if you don’t sort that out properly you may lose some weight through exercise and dieting, but you will probably put it straight back on. Put it on, take it off, put it on, take it off. Does that sound familiar.

 

Hypnotherapy is the most effective way to sort out your mindset, permanently. You obviously will need to eat right and move right, and you may even want to diet, you may even want to join a gym, you may want to buy supplementary food shakes etc. That’s Ok because they all work, but they are not the main requirement of weight control. Your new positive mindset will steer you on the right path to success and keep you there.

 

WHAT YOU NEED BEFORE YOUR WEIGHT CONTROL HYPNOSIS SESSION.

Not much really, just the following.

  • An open mind about hypnosis – it’s a very natural process and it works the best

  • Your own wish to be more in control of your weight – you must be prepared to accept change

  • An expectation that you’re going to achieve your goals – hypnosis will give you what you want

  • A willingness to co-operate with the hypnotherapist – it does require your permission

WHY ARE YOUR OVERWEIGHT?

The most common reason that people are overweight is for emotional issues and if you can separate those emotions from the food, sometimes that’s all it takes to gain control.

 

There are three main different types of eaters. Which one are you, or maybe a mixture of two?

 

CONDITIONAL EATERS

Conditioned eaters are programmed from their early childhood to finish everything on their plate. Their parents told them that people are starving in other countries. Also in the past, for some people, they did not have access to a lot of food or food was scarce, so these people when they become parents made their children feel guilty if they left any food on their plate, or even insisted on their children not leaving the dinner table until every piece of food on their plate had been eaten. Because this type of eater feels guilty when they leave food on their plate, they have a tendency  to eat way too much.

 

SUBCONSCIOUS EATERS

Subconscious eaters eat food and do not realise or know how much they are eating. These eaters may eat a whole bucket of ice cream while watching TV or a movie or snacking on a whole bag of chips watching TV, or may be always putting food in their mouths at work during the day, without even being aware that they are shoving food in their mouths. This is a subconscious decision and process, not a conscious decision. It just happens.

 

EMOTIONAL EATERS

An emotional eater eats food because of emotions like stress, worry, frustration, boredom, loneliness, pain, as a reward, as a punishment, to fill a relationship void. Over 70% of all weight related issues are based on repressed emotions or frustrations. Here’s a shocking reality: Your subconscious thoughts may be causing you some stress and sabotaging your weight loss efforts without your conscious knowledge.

 

 

So, based on the above, it’s easy to see that to be able to control you weight, you really need to control your thoughts, your feelings, your mindset. That’s what hypnotherapy for weight loss will do for you.

 

 

HOW MY WEIGHT CONTROL HYPNOSIS SESSION WORKS.

  • You take the first step of booking in a “free hypnosis discovery phone call”. This will allow me to give you peace of mind on the how this process works and how hypnosis works to allow you take back control of your weight for life. It’s important to me that you know the science behind how it works and why it works. If you don’t want to take it any further after this phone call, that’s fine but I’m sure that you will be very keen and excited to make it happen.

 

  • I will send you a weight control questionnaire to fill in, then either send it back to me or bring to the session. This allows me to understand how things that relate to your eating habits and weight have affected your daily life routine. This is so important as some of these social habits like binge eating, sugar addictions, stress indicators and drinking will need to be addressed for future change to be successful.

 

  • We will book in your first hypnotherapy session which usually takes about 1 ½ hours.

 

  • The first half hour of the session is discussing your current eating habits, your new goals and how hypnosis works. I will explain to you that you don’t have a conscious mind issue, rather you do have a subconscious mind issue, where it has created deep within your emotional system a habit of over eating or eating the wrong food.

 

  • Then we will start the hypnosis session that will be customised around your individual requirements for success. At the end of that session you will be in total control of your weight for life because we will have removed any emotional barriers that have been causing you unhealthy eating habits. By the way, you will always be alert and in control for the whole session. You will not be asleep, and you will remember everything that I say to you. At the end of the session when you open your eyes you will feel very relaxed and energised because you will realise that you are now in control of your future weight control life. That old bad eating habit is now past-tense and you will become a healthier and fitter person.

 

  • Sometimes it will only take one session to change your mindset about weight control, however I always recommend that a minimum of two or three sessions would embed your new positive mindset firmly into your subconscious mind. This obviously would be up to you, as you will be the only one that knows if you need more sessions. Since weight loss takes a lot of time to reach your goals, (on average 1kg per week) it could also be beneficial to have another session in a month or so’s’ time to refocus your thinking on another level that will enhance your weight control. Again, this is totally voluntary by you. Each extra session is only about one hour and is cheaper than your first session as well.

 

  • I will also give you a complementary self-hypnosis weight control audio MP3 so that if ever you feel the need, you can listen to it. Since weight loss takes a long time to achieve, you will find it extremely helpful to keep you on track to your goals. You don’t have to use it, but you will have it if you want to.

 

  • Because you will have experienced some immediate results with this session, I bet you will be a big fan of the hypnotic process of weight control and you will recommend my services to other people that you know.   • Now that you will be in control of your weight for life, here’s what you can look forward to. You will have increased energy, improved mobility and breathing, reduced risk of Type 2 diabetes, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol and blood sugar, fewer aches and pains from the reduced stress on your muscles and joints, decreased risk of heart problems or  strokes, reduced risk of coronary artery disease, deeper and more restful sleep and the best thing is that you will just look and feel better and have a high degree of confidence.
